Dear Parents / Carers,
Return to Schools
You will have received a letter today by email from the Education Service, which sets out the arrangements for the phased return of pupils to ELCs and schools.
You will have noticed that an arrangement has been put in place for the full return of all pupils from P1 to P7 to schools of 25 or less where all pupils have been taught in the same class since August 2020.
As Carradale currently has a school roll of 17 and as there are periods in the week (some afternoons) when the all pupils are taught in the same class, Carradale does fall into the category of schools in which all P1 to P7 pupils can return to school on Monday 22nd February 2021. This obviously represents a slight change of plan for the school and for you as parents, but I am sure we all welcome this development for the children. Staff are very much looking forward to welcoming all of the children back to school and to nursery.
Thank you very much for your support and for enabling your children to engage in home learning during this recent closure period.
School will re-open for all pupils on Monday. The arrangements and procedures that were in place prior to the school closure to take account of covid restrictions will be in place again as before.
If you have any questions or need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards
Richard Long
Head Teacher
