Dear Parents/Carers,
In light of recent events we would like to show our support and do something to help the children affected by the hardship in Ukraine and Russia.
We have decided to do a sponsored lap around Carradale Bay next Friday (18th March) to raise funds for this. Each child will be given a sponsor sheet, please note it is a maximum of 5 sponsors per child.
During our walk we will spend time reflecting on the challenges faces by children in Ukraine and Russia, considering leaving homes and belongings and not having our voices heard. The children will then draw pictures and write messages to be sent along with donations of clothes to children in Ukraine.
This will be in place of Red Nose Day and your child will be given their sponsor sheet next week.
Your kindness and support for this worthy cause is greatly appreciated.
